The snood was a popular way to cover your hair in the 1860's. As you can see from the photographs and fashion plates from Godey's Lady's Book (1860 for floral wreaths and 1864 for the page on Snoods) there were many ways to wear them both separately and together. Mary Todd Lincoln was a particular fan of the floral head band.

My design features a crocheted white snood with a ribbon drawstring to allow for a perfect fit. The floral band is a separate piece, which can be worn with or without the snood for a variety of options. This allows flexibility in bringing your ensemble from day wear to ball gown or evening wear. You can even mix and match with my other snoods and headbands for a completely new look!
This listing is for the darker pink flowers and white snood variation shown in the first image. Check out my other listings for additional colors and styles.
